Lucky for you, we’ve got your back and made a health and wellness-focused city guide suited for any vacation or staycation.

Join us in saying, “GOOD MORNING, NEW YORK!” and checking off everything that this city has to offer!

1. Run In Central Park

“This massive, man-made park in the middle of Manhattan might just be the thing that makes city life bearable for so many of its citizens. With acres of green space, it’s a public oasis offering incredible playgrounds, swimming pools, public concerts, running tracks, dog parks, gondola dotted lakes, a boathouse, a wonderful zoo, and the John Lennon Memorial. It’s a wonderful place.” – The Goop

2. The High Line

“This elevated public park that runs from the Meatpacking District to Midtown is perhaps the best thing to happen to the city’s landscape in decades. Set on abandoned railway tracks suspended above the city streets.” The high line is the perfect place that blends city life with the beauty of the outdoors. – The Goop

3. Dudley’s

“In the last few years, Australian restaurants have become all the rage in New York City. (I blame avocado toast and flat whites.) One of the standouts, however, is Dudley’s, which occupies a quiet corner in the Lower East Side. Not only do they make all-day breakfast, but the menu is thoughtfully created using sustainably sourced ingredients. Once done eating, you can walk around the neighborhood, which is home to New York’s emerging art scene (think contemporary, young, modern artists).” – Well + Good

4. HeyDay

“An appointment at this no-frills day spa (there are five throughout the city) is wonderfully personalized: You choose the duration of your treatment (thirty, fifty, or seventy-five minutes) and set your goals with your skin therapist. Every treatment comes with a deep cleanse, exfoliation, custom mask, and hydration then ends with sunscreen protection (the fifty- and seventy-five-minute options also have extractions). Upgrades include peels, microdermabrasion, and light therapy, and if you need monthly treatments, there is a membership program. Bonus: Appointments are available until 9 p.m., making an after-work facial doable.” – The Goop

5. Cha Cha Matcha

“This is truly a place for the matcha-obsessed. In addition to standard fare like a coconut matcha latte (made, of course, with Japanese ceremonial matcha), you can order their ginger turmeric version (the combination of assertive ginger, earthy spice, and matcha works surprisingly well), plus matcha pastries, and matcha soft-serve. While this NOHO spot is their latest space, the OG Cha Cha Matcha is just around the corner on Broome Street.” – The Goop

6. Sweat It Out With Zeamo

There is no shortage of gyms in NYC. Thankfully, with the help of zeamo, you can have access to gyms all over Manhattan and Brooklyn. If you’re looking for a cool experience, Limelight Fitness is a gym in an old church located within the Flatiron area. Although far from your average gym, Limelight Fitness still offers the amenities and benefits that any state of the art facility would.

7. Citi Bike

Put the pedal to the metal utilizing Citi bikes, which have stations throughout the many burrows of NYC. Sometimes, exploring the city on a bike is more fun than walking down a busy sidewalk filled with window browsers. Something to remember is always wear your helmet!

8. MoMA (Museum of Modern Art)

“MoMA has become increasingly user-friendly through successive expansions—the most recent of which, in 2019, added 40,000 square feet of new exhibition space, including street-facing galleries free to the public, as well as a dedicated venue for live programming and performances. Current amenities include MoMA’s sculpture garden and cinema, as well as a Michelin-starred restaurant. But through repeated renewal and re-invention, MoMA has exceeded its original role as modernism’s incubator to become one of NYC’s most important—and visited—museums.” – Time Out Magazine

9. Be Time Meditation Bus

“When the city is getting a bit overwhelming, and you need a moment to ground yourself, it’s Be Time to the rescue. This traveling meditation bus is a soundproof bubble of calm that smells like a high-end spa. Hop aboard for a guided meditation and leave half an hour later with a more serene disposition.” – Culture Trip

10. Ice Skate at Rockefeller Center

“You’ve seen the tree lighting ceremony on TV, now that you’re in town, head to Rockefeller Center, and experience this time-honored winter tradition. Skate rental and private lessons are available if you don’t want to take a spin on your own.” – Travel To Wellness

11. Domino Park

“With an industrial aesthetic that pays homage to the neighborhood’s past, Domino Park set up shop in the space where the Domino Sugar Refinery once stood. In place of factories, the Williamsburg go-to sports a huge splash pad where kiddies can cool off, an epic playground that beckons even the oldest members of the family to take a look, great views of the Manhattan skyline and of course, sweet spots where you’re able to refuel.” – Time Out Magazine
